I also ask myself the question: 'How on earth did we come up with the idea of wanting to buy a castle?'

That’s really crazy… It just happens to you… Maurice, my husband, and I had been successfully running a Bed and Breakfast for about nine years in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, in the picturesque village of FRAHAN! Ten years ago, we had never heard of FRAHAN; nine years later, it is an integral part of the small village’s streetscape… One day, we received a phone call from a casting agency working for the Flemish television company* in Belgium. (*VTM TV channel) How wonderful they would find it if we wanted to participate in their bed & breakfast television program 'Met4inBed'!

What stuck with me the most were the five days of filming, which were ultimately condensed into just a few hours of episodes. An energy-consuming piece of work that you, as a viewer, don't stop to think about. It is bizarre how much work goes into making a single TV broadcast. Now that I am aware of this, I will never look at any TV program the same way again. ...
