Millions of viewers were charmed by the friendliness and enthusiasm of the duo.

But it didn't stop there... Their thriving Bed & Breakfast 'B&B Bourgeoisie' in the HEART of the Belgian Ardennes has been running at full speed for 8 years and is highly appreciated by many Belgians, Dutch, and French. Likewise, during this 8th season, the accommodation of the two gentlemen moved forward at full speed... And forward they went! Two months later, Steve & Maurice bought a Chateau in France...

From Rococo to Baroque

Steve & Maurice were already avid collectors of antiques.

A genuine passion and flair for interior design that was already extensively evident in their Bed & Breakfast in the Belgian Ardennes. Where the duo has furnished six rooms and four holiday homes with taste...

At the Chateau in France, decorating is done with great passion and a sense of color during the months of October and November! From vieux rose to azure blue and from Louis XV to Chesterfield, from floor lamps to crystal chandeliers...

From Rococo to Baroque...

A brilliant preparation...

In Steve & Maurice's workshop, objects have been polished and restored for months that will find a place in the Chateau... Crystals being cleaned one by one and reattached to the chandeliers...

Dozens of antique lamps being polished and fitted with new wiring, an immense job tackled effortlessly with full dedication and passion! All preparations for the Chateau are being made with the utmost care and precision...

Selecting accessories and determining the interior in all its glory...

All facets of the interior design are extensively discussed, prepared, and selected in the shops in France, where Steve & Maurice give shape and color to the interior of their dream Chateau. From unique decorative objects to doors and doorknobs, curtain rods, baths and faucets... Floors and wallpaper, paint and colored fabrics—with great taste and drive, the chateau interior takes shape...

Often, you get an inspiration or idea at the moment itself regarding which colors or pieces of furniture to use to decorate a room. Once you have determined the color shades, your eye falls on accessories in those colors to be combined with the curtains, fabrics, and wallpaper... While some objects fit into the interior immediately, other accessories are an absolute 'no go'...

It is therefore fantastic to see a space come to life...

Furnishing a room can involve selecting a unique object, such as this taxidermied peacock, after which the colors azure blue and sublime green and yellow are added to the interior of this space. Fully coordinated with an object or eye-catcher that will define 'The look of the room...'!

This way, every room acquires a specific character and a unique look...
